WIKA approved by German Federal Aviation Office as a "known consignor"

Klingenberg, April 2013
Following a successful audit on 21 February 2013 the company site at Klingenberg has been approved as a "known consignor" by the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (German Federal Aviation Office).

With this approval, WIKA is recognised as a known consignor and registered as such in the EU-wide database under the approval number DE/KC/00969-01/0218. Thus WIKA's airfreight does not have to undergo any additional security checks at the airport, and the movement of their goods through the airport will be handled speedily.

For WIKA's customers the certification has the advantage of enabling a smooth clearance of freight at the airport. This is especially important since the airfreight companies have recently had to fulfil the new regulations on the "secure supply chain" from the Air Safety Regulation (EC) No. 300/2008.
